I have now completed my Panosh Place collection. Only the characters are
MOC, everything else is mint, but loose with box/packaging, etc.
I have a opened MIB
Panosh Place plastic version of the Lion Force Voltron. This Voltron comes
with a box, but the box is in poor condition. I have repaired it by using scotch
tape so it will at least display well with the Voltron inside of it. The Voltron
that comes with it is in MINT condition. All cockpit covers for the lions to hold the
pilots are there, and all the weapons for the lions are there as well.
I have THREE different sets of pilots. One set is
MOC Sealed!!!
The
other two sets are loose. The First set is complete and MINT. There is ZERO
yellowing on their uniforms, and all the details are there including the little
cross in the little oval on their chest where in the cartoon was the place for
their keys to operate the lions.
I have recently acquired an
extra loose Keith in which I painted the uniform Black, and now have, a Sven!
The Pilots
each come
with their helmets, and respective keys. The Second set is near complete and
near mint. Zero yellowing on the uniforms, but some of the details aren't as
good. All pilots have their helmets, but no keys. Those pilots are inside the
Panosh Place Voltron. I also have all of the "Evil" characters as well. I have
2 King Zarkons,
Prince Lotor,
2 Haggars,
Robeast Mutilor,
Robeast Scorpious,
a Doom commander, and
a Skull scavenger
ALL MOC sealed!!!
I have two sealed pilots made in Argentina. The first is
Princess Allura
notice
that she is given a pink key to coincide with her uniform, but there was never a
pink lion. The second is
Pidge if you look
closely, on his right leg is where the difference is. It's a left leg, turned
around to be used as a right leg. **Note**
I am highly after the Argentina versions of Jeff, Krik, Cliff, Sven,
Merla, Trok, Robeast Cyclops, Robeast Rino, & Hazzar. Also after the
infamous Castle of Doom prototype from Panosh Place. If you have these,
or know of a way to acquire these, please email me! Oh, and
yes I do know that that is not the correct spelling of those characters, but it
is how they are spelled on the back of the cards for the Argentina Voltron line.
I have the complete set of the
Castle of Lions!!!

As a wedding present
from a fellow fan, I received scans of the infamous Panosh Place catalog from
1986. Now, this is a big deal because there are figures, and even a
play set that wasn't released! So feast your eyes, drool, do whatever you
want! Here they are!!!

I have both
Coffins of Doom,
and Darkness. For those whom haven't seen the
inside, there is a
little light, powered by a single "AA" battery. My coffins came with their
respective Robeast, Mutilor, and Scorpious; complete with their weapons, and
bio file card (not pictured). For those whom need to replace your bulb, the
number is #243 bulb type GTL-3. You may also find it as a #222, since the
specifications are similar.
I have loose figures of all of the
Evil characters on
Voltron.
King Zarkon, Haggar
the Witch, a Skull
scavenger, a Doom Commander, Prince Lotor, and Robeasts Mutilor & Scorpious.
The loose figures are for placement into the vehicles when on display.
I now have the
Skull Tank,
Zarkon Zapper, and
Doom Blaster.
They all come with their boxes, instructions, and cardboard inserts. When
I got them, they weren't MISB, which is good because I wanted these for display
purposes at fairs.
Well that's it for my Panosh Place collection! I'm usually adding stuff,
but I have everything for Panosh Place! I have made sure that all the Voltron
collectibles I ever
wanted as a kid I own to treasure through adulthood.
